Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day
On September 21, The Duker Academy will commemorate Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, honouring the life and legacy of Ghana’s first Prime Minister and President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Students will have the opportunity to learn about his contribution to Ghana’s independence and his vision for African unity and development. Through age-appropriate activities and discussions, the day will encourage students to reflect on leadership, service, national identity and the importance of contributing positively to society.
